“The Spring of 2009 my husband and I searched all over for the perfect outdoor wedding location for our Summer Steamboat Springs Wedding. When we arrived at Midnight Ranch we knew the moment we stepped out of the car we found it. The setting is unbelievable! Wide open fields filled with wildflowers, the backdrop of a forest we love, a view of Hahns Peak, and a natural lake that reflects then entire peaceful scene. We rented all 3 farm houses on location filled with real Colorado rustic charm for our wedding party and immediate family members so we could all be close on our special day. We spent days before the wedding fishing and boating in the lake, barbequing, singing songs by a bonfire, hiking, and the friendly resident pet donkey Shadow really completed our pre-wedding smiles. Being a little farther from town where everyone can truly connect was so well worth it; the stars there are the brightest in the world. The owners of midnight ranch were lifesavers, and really helped everything come together for us with planning, and the day of the event. Down to earth, reliable, FUN and easy going, what more could a bride to be ask for when everything else is crazy?! Not a thing. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a moment, and we know we will be spending our anniversary at Midnight Ranch to relive those memories of our Dream wedding day for years to come.”
